I am Famous: Rainbow Party
Wednesday, August 1, 2012
Once again, I have uploaded something to Project Nursery. This time its our Rainbow Birthday Party. While I am able to upload my own images to this website, I still enjoy seeing my stuff on a big name site and its out there for the whole world to see. Pretty neat! Although, my blog is out there for the whole world to see. Project Nursery may have a slightly larger fan base though. Just slightly.
Enjoy our Rainbow DIY Party. As of right now, its on the main page. And to see my post on it a a few weeks ago, visit the party here.
She had me at Anthropologie Window Display: My New Friend
Wednesday, July 18, 2012
While searching for party ideas, I came upon this grand blog called Pure Joy Events. She had me at Anthropologie Summer Window Displays. The above picture shows garlands she made from an Anthropolgie window display seen below. She has many more tutorials! She teaches you how to make cute things for your parties, shows off her great events and writes for other blogs. Go check out her work!
I need a clever title, but I got nothing
Tuesday, July 17, 2012
For our latest party, I got a few ideas from Pinterest, which is a huge wealth of knowledge. I found the top photo and thought it was so clever. Now, I must say, after I uploaded my photo, it looks sad. But the party was certainly not! I painted our animals to match our rainbow them ( go here to see the whole party.) I later thought, if we had a Noah's Ark party, and the animals painted all sorts of colors, would be in keeping with Noah and the animals and the rainbow. Get it? I liked it. And as far as the title of this post, I wanted to have a clever title, but I got nothing!
3 Ways to Refresh Your Style
Wednesday, April 11, 2012
As I am moving along in pregnancy, I am finding that I am continuing moving through clothes ( they are getting smaller and smaller!) and always looking for ways to freshen things up. So, I have come up with 3 ways to refresh your style.
1. Go get a Governor's Daughter necklace at M and M Monogramming and Gifts. The one shown above is in their darling shop. A new accessory will brighten up any outfit. If you aren't local, then check out my etsy site, http://www.etsy.com/shop/thegovernorsdaughter.
2. Shave your legs! Yes, a simple task but really helps you feel better. And this simple task is getting harder and harder to reach...:)
3. I bought myself a little of make-up. A new eye shadow, lipstick, blush or even tinted chap stick will add a little pep in your step.
Enjoy!
