Chevron

I am into the chevron pattern these days. Partly because in a lot of my rooms in my house, I have exhausted all other patterns and the chevron is new and fresh! Actually, I am working on a green chevron coverlet for our bed. I am still trying to piece it all together. But here are some great uses of chevron thanks to AmyAtlas.com and LiveLikeYou.com.

Her Rings

We recently refound my grandmother's, THE Governor's Daughter, rings. They are way too small for me to wear but nonetheless, they are still so unique. Interesting how times change and styles as well.

Take Me Here

This room is so refreshing and I love pink and red together. Its unexpected. This is work done by Sarah Richardson, of Sarah's House on HGTV. She has a great eye for color and is able to pull great things together. Enjoy!

Just Enough

Some might say this is too much on the walls, but I like it. And the dark walls are unexpected but yes, I like this little room/hallway.

Retaining Wall

It's hard to believe that this is the same backyard we had a year ago or even 6 months ago. As the summer goes on, it will fill in more and more. But I am so proud of the work we have done! We painted the house, we put in all the plants, and we put in the lattice style porch. Whew...

Yay for my Patio

I got my three paintings up in the nick of time for a baby shower I had on Saturday. I love putting unexpected things outside that you wouldn't normally think to put outside.
