Trunk Show

The Governor's Daughter is having a trunk show of all of her necklaces, long and short. We will be at Chrysalis tonight, March 17th, from 5 to 7 pm. Looking forward to seeing y'all there!

Kitchen Chair

While visiting my sister in Birmingham recently, we found this great fabric store. Their hours are terrible and we took 4 kids under 7 inside. But! We were able to come away with some great fabric and I recovered her kitchen chairs. We thought it was a great find!

Laundry Room

This laundry nook makes laundry seem romantic and purposeful. Either way, if there is an opportunity for me to pick up lighting and fabric, I am all for it. And the mirror is such a nice touch!

Living Room Slash Home Office Slash Craft Room

We are currently in talks over enclosing part of our storage room for a laundry room, powder room, storage and window seat. Whew! There isn't that much space and we are trying to jam pack everything in. My current laundry room is outside in the garage and its quite a sight. I tried to fix it up as best as I could but it is a sad state. Anyways, I am always collecting pictures for what I want the new place to look like. Oh and I am switching my dining room with my front sitting room and making the sitting room into a "Living Room Slash Home Office Slash Craft Room."

New Beads

I recently bought some new beads. Fabulous colors! I am also still trying to figure out where to take great photos of the necklaces in my yard. This one is on my front door. I do love my door color, Golden Cricket.

Dog Pillow

I am currently working on a couple of pillows for my sisters bench in her entry way. Sadly, she recently moved to Birmingham from living 7 houses away from me:( But she has been keeping me busy with sewing projects for her house. I found this fabric on sale, and even though its not either one of our styles, I am repurposing it to be Alabama Chic.

Shower Curtain Redo

I adore my bathroom. It might be one of my favorite rooms in my house. When we gutted the master bath, we decided to create an arch over the tub and shower. I wanted my shower curtain to highlight this architectural feature and now I feel like it finally does! I like to think my bathroom is fresh from California. It reminds me of my trip with my husband to California for our anniversary a few years ago. The food was great, the weather was fantastic and we had a really nice time. My bathroom reminds me of our getaway!
